Every year, hundreds of families across the province receive a childhood cancer diagnosis.
To help other families not feel quite as alone in the storm, several families have decided to tell you their stories. With the hope to comfort you and remind you that you are not alone, Leucan is sharing their touching testimonials.

It’s hard to describe it because it feels surreal. You don’t expect it, you always think this kind of thing only happens to other people. You never think you will be those other people.

The doctor closed the curtain and Émile held my face in his little hands. He said, “Mommy, why are you crying?” That made me cry even more.

What I find amazing is that Leucan was able to maintain a presence with families and children through virtual activities. As soon as I received an email, I signed up. I was always there!
