Leucan would like to highlight the latest achievement of Hooké, its valued partner in The Force of Nature campaign. The campaign was based on the sale of a plaid shirt designed by Hooké, a Quebec brand known for the quality of its outdoor clothing for the whole family. Catherine D’Anjou and Karina Durand, two loyal Leucan volunteers from the Quebec City region, created and launched the campaign.

Thanks to Hooké, $200,000 was donated to the Leucan Association at the close of the two-year campaign. This sum will help finance the outdoor socio-recreational activities offered by the Association to children with cancer and their families. One such activity is the Leucan Respite, which has been held at SEPAQ’s Station Touristique Duchesnay for over 10 years.

“Our collaboration with Hooké over the past two years has been truly wonderful and so natural. Thanks to these funds, children and their families will have the opportunity to enjoy a break in a natural setting and create memories in a safe and peaceful environment.”

– Sarah Davidson, Provincial Director, Major Gifts and Partnerships

To raise awareness for the campaign, Leucan and Hooké called on the services of some well-known ambassadors, including Geneviève O’Gleman, Vanessa Pilon, Phil Roy and Fabien Cloutier. Leucan wishes to express its sincerest thanks to Hooké for this fine initiative, as well as to all the ambassadors and collaborators that have helped make the campaign a success.
