On the occasion of SSQ Insurance’s 75th anniversary, the SSQ Foundation provided a budget to increase its support to the community to mark the event.
Charity organizations were invited to submit an application to receive a donation from the Foundation. Leucan Québec had the great privilege to stand out among around 300 other applicants and received, on April 26, a donation of $75,000.
“It is with much gratitude that we receive this major donation today”, says Nathalie Matte, provincial Director, philanthropic development at Leucan. “The generosity of the SSQ will allow Leucan to pursue its mission to provide specific and personalized services through every stage of the disease and its side-effects.”
Leucan is deeply grateful to SSQ Insurance and the SSQ Foundation for this incredible commitment towards cancer-stricken children and their families.
