Leucan is very proud to announce the nomination of Magalie Bourdeau as President of its Board of Trustees
After three mandates on Leucan’s Board of Trustees, Ms. Bourdeau enthusiastically begins her fourth mandate as President.
Mrs. Bourdeau is intimately linked to Leucan; mother of three beautiful children, one of whom is now cured of acute lymphoblastic leukemia, she is grateful to have crossed paths with Leucan on her son’s road to recovery. Her sincere commitment is a way for her to give back to the Association and to help families get through the disease.
Generous and motivated, Ms. Bourdeau accepted Leucan’s invitation to be part of the second cohort of Audacieuses. Involved in the Réseau des femmes d’affaires du Québec, she has always been committed to the advancement of women and mutual aid among them. Thus, along with eight other inspiring women, she shaved her hair in the spring of 2022 in support of children with cancer and their families, and raised a significant amount for the Association.
A graduate of the University of Sherbrooke in Business Administration, she is a Chartered Professional Accountant and partner in the accounting and consulting firm Demers Beaulne. Recognized as a team player, curious and organized, she closely accompanies Quebec’s SME entrepreneurs in all their projects.
Thanks to the dedication of committed and generous people like Magalie Bourdeau, Leucan can count on a Board of Trustees that is concerned with the realization of the Association’s mission and with ensuring its sustainability and development.
