Loïc Cycling Challenge
$43,698 was raised during the third edition of the Loïc Cycling Challenge held on June 13. Special thanks to the 452 cyclists who took on the challenge and to all the volunteers dedicated to our cause.
Heads from all walks of life for the 10th anniversary of the Shaved Head Challenge!
Montreal, June 13, 2010 — Heads from all walks of life sacrificed their hair for Leucan’s good cause as part of the 10th edition of Leucan’s signature event, themed “Hats off to my hero!”. Indeed, over 9,000 participants helped raise nearly 4.5 million of dollars for children with cancer as part of the Leucan Shaved Head Challenge, presented by Jean Coutu on this anniversary year. Since its inauguration in 2001, more than 40,000 people have taken up the Challenge.
Pro-Am Simon Gagné – Notice to hockey fans!
An exceptional hockey game will take place on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 7 p.m., at Complexe Sportif Multidisciplinaire de l’Ancienne-Lorette. 22 NHL players split in two teams joined by amateur players who raised $ 3,000 to participate will dispute the puck. Tickets to assist (price: $20), are presently on sale at the office of Leucan Région Québec.
