Massage therapy: a service offered to Leucan families
Massage therapy is offered in hospital and at home to all members of the family whose child has cancer, as well as to bereaved families. This service helps relieve the stress caused by the illness, reduce the pain of the child undergoing treatment, improve immune function and enable the child to re-acquaint himself with touch in a pleasant way, despite the treatments. Our team of massage therapists is specialized and trained to meet the specific needs of families.
