On July 22, the Centre Excellence Sports Rousseau in Boisbriand was the setting for the 8th edition of the Classique Kevin Raphael, a charity event initiated by comedian and TVA Sport host Kevin Raphael.
This year, the event raised an impressive $55,080.48 for Leucan!
The event drew an impressive crowd, with the participation of several NHL players, professional women hockey players and Quebec artists, all united in support of this noble cause. Participants took part in exciting hockey games, creating a vibrant atmosphere of solidarity and enthusiasm.
In total, no fewer than 97 artists and athletes answered the call for the Classique Kevin Raphael, and over 1,200 spectators attended the event, contributing to its resounding success.
Moved by the story of Laurence, a child supported by Leucan 7 years ago, Kevin Raphael decided to initiate this charity event 8 years ago. A generous gesture that raised public awareness of the fight against childhood cancer, and raised precious funds to support Leucan’s efforts.
A huge thank you was extended to Kevin Raphael and his entire team for their extraordinary commitment to Leucan over the past 5 years. Their dedication has contributed significantly to improving the lives of children with cancer and their families, and the Classique Kevin Raphael remains a shining example of how sport and generosity can combine to make a real difference in the community.
