Leucan is pleased to announce its partnership with Uni & Brave. This Quebec-based company, committed to the cause since 2020, donates a percentage of the sale of its products to the Association, in addition to offering a sweatshirt known as the Armour of Courage, to all children diagnosed with cancer through the Leucan welcome kit.

Uni & Brave offers a variety of company-branded products, including sports bags, caps, tuques, t-shirts and the famous sweatshirt donated to Leucan’s children. Corporate gift packages are also available to demonstrate a company’s solidarity with the cause. All items are on sale at Uni & Brave’s online boutique.

A partnership driven by the brave

Pierre Guillemette, owner and founder of Uni & Brave, understands the reality of children and families affected by pediatric cancer. Having gone through the stages of the disease himself, it’s important for him to give back to Leucan in a meaningful way. Through his story and his company, Pierre sends a message of hope to children with cancer:

“Having survived two cancers and a bone marrow transplant at the age of 18, my story prompted me to found this company to transcend individual boundaries to create a united community. Uni & Brave aspires to become more than just a brand, but a symbol of unity and shared courage. I believe in the strength of community to overcome challenges, and it’s in this spirit that I’m partnering with Leucan to support Quebec children and families facing a cancer diagnosis,” explains Pierre Guillemette, founder and owner of Uni & Brave.

A star line-up of spokespeople

We are honoured to announce that Chantal Machabée, Vice President, Hockey Communications for the Montréal Canadiens, Stéphane Fiset, former goaltender and analyst for RDS, and Samuel Montembeault, goaltender for the Montréal Canadiens, have joined Uni & Brave as spokespersons. These inspiring and caring personalities, embodying unity, bravery and solidarity, represent the values of the partnership between Uni & Brave and Leucan.

“I decided to become an ambassador for the Uni & Brave campaign simply because the cause is close to my heart. I’d already been involved with Leucan in the past, so it was only natural for me to get on board. Plus, the suit of armour given to each child is a nod to my background, since it’s similar to a goalkeeper’s equipment: it protects, gives a feeling of invincibility and the courage to face anything that comes our way,”Stéphane Fiset

Leucan would like to extend its warmest thanks to Uni & Brave for this initiative, and invites everyone to join the movement by purchasing these items, thus demonstrating your solidarity with children affected by cancer.
