Leucan and Mia Bijoux are proud to announce the launch of the 11th edition of the Earring of Hope. This year, Marie-Mai, Godmother of the Association, and her daughter Gisèle participated in the design of the earring.

The Leucan Earring of Hope is a powerful symbol of support for children with cancer. For 11 years, this special collection from Mia Bijoux in benefit of Leucan has provided financial support to families affected by cancer, while showcasing unique creations. More than one and a half million dollars have been donated to Leucan thanks to this collaboration.

An edition signed by Marie-Mai

For this 11th year, Leucan and Mia Bijoux invited Marie-Mai and her daughter, Gisèle, to participate in the creation and design of the two models of the Leucan Earring of Hope.

“ It was an honor to participate in the creation of the new collection, and with my daughter no less. It fills me with pride to see her participate in a project with Leucan for the first time. As Leucan’s Godmother for more than five years now, I see the importance of the support offered to families; it’s the shoulder to lean on when they need it most.

And by buying a pair of earrings, you have the opportunity to make a small difference in their lives and to tell children and families: “You’re not alone”. Thank you to everyone who will buy the jewel, and above all, thank you for supporting this cause which is so close to my heart”, says Marie-Mai, the Association’s Godmother.

For this edition, two young Leucan girls have agreed to be the campaign’s ambassadors: Adrianna, 17, suffering from Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and Mia, 7, suffering from acute lymphoblastic leukemia, are joining Marie-Mai and Gisèle.

“Cancer is a disease that takes a long time to cure, that is complicated, that makes us suffer and that makes us very weak and exhausted. It’s much more than chemotherapy or radiotherapy; it changes your whole life.

Being part of the photo shoot for the Leucan Earring of Hope is really fun. When you have cancer, there’s not much you can do except sit at home alone and wait. So thank you to Leucan and Mia Bijoux for making my day! And above all, thank you to everyone who will buy the earring. It’s going to put a smile back on a lot of kids’ faces,” says Adrianna, young ambassador for the Leucan 2024 Earring of Hope

Once again this year, a limited quantity of 8,000 pairs of earrings will be available, raising $160,000 for Leucan. Leucan Earring of Hope for adults are on sale for $35 + tax, and those for children for $30 + tax. For each pair, Mia Bijoux will donate $20 to Leucan, representing all proceeds from the sale.

We invite you to purchase a pair of earrings on the Mia Bijoux website or at one of the 14 MIA counters in the province of Quebec.
