One of Leucan’s most eagerly awaited events of the year is the Leucan-CSN Summer Camp, the only camp in Quebec specifically adapted to the needs of children with cancer. For a few days, children can escape the hospital and enjoy a fun and enriching experience, surrounded by peers who share similar challenges.
A heartfelt thank you to Care Camps for their donation of $15,000, which helped finance a portion of the 2023 Leucan-CSN Summer Camp!
This non-profit organization is dedicated to supporting children with cancer by providing financial resources for summer camps tailored to their specific needs. The benefits of such camps are invaluable. They enable children with cancer to build positive memories despite the hardships they face. These special moments spent with families and peers strengthens their resolve to overcome this difficult time and positively impacts them for the rest of their lives.
The camp allowed more than 100 Leucan families to experience unforgettable moments with their loved ones this summer, in a safe and caring environment.
