40 Giants for Leucan: Mission Accomplished

Leucan is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its major fundraising campaign 40 Giants for Leucan. Launched in 2018 to mark the 40^th anniversary of the Association, the goal of this initiative was to bring 40 individuals who each pledge to donate $40,000 or more to the Association. Their giant idea: raising $1.6M to improve the lives and treatments of childhood cancer survivors. Leucan warmly thanks the 40 Giants who joined the movement.

The image of the Giant illustrates well the greatness of the soul that these donors have demonstrated. It is with great pride that we can say today – Mission Accomplished. Their generosity inspires us to work tirelessly to support families who are going through such difficult times. The funds raised will be used directly to improve childhood cancer treatments and the quality of life of survivors. The investments made by Leucan allow access to the best treatments in the world, adapted for each child by type of cancer. In Quebec, nearly one family a day is diagnosed with cancer in their child. Each year, Leucan supports between 1,000 and 1,500 families.
