Board of Trustees and governance
Thanks to the commitment of dedicated and generous volunteers, Leucan can count on a dynamic Board of Trustees, driven by the Association’s mission and its willingness to ensure its longevity and progression.

I was pleased to renew my appointment as President of the Board of Trustees because Leucan and its cause for children are particularly close to my heart. As a teenage survivor of pediatric cancer, Leucan was there for my family and me through this ordeal. For more than 10 years now, I’ve been serving on various boards. My wife Nancy and I are the lucky parents of an extraordinary teenager named Emily. Our whole family recognizes the importance of getting involved in such a noble cause.
On the professional front, I have an MBA from HEC and I am a strategic advisor, business management and financing. I’m truly excited to take on the chairmanship of the Board of Leucan.

It is with great enthusiasm that I am joining Leucan’s Board of directors. I am a mom of three beautiful children, with my youngest who is currently in remission of an acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL). For me, being involved within Leucan is a great way of giving back. I am involved in the Audit and services committees, research and partnership.
From a professional standpoint, I am a certified chartered accountant and partner at the accounting firm Demers Beaulne. I have the opportunity of supporting entrepreneurs in all their projects. That is exactly what I wish to do within Leucan; supporting families through trials of illness.

Member of board of directors of Leucan since 2019 and involved in the philanthropic and governance committees. Being a part of the ambassador’s comity of the event l’Expérience Leucan for 5 years, and now acting as the committee’s chairman, I had the occasion to interact with the management of the organization and to get to know wonderful people who are dedicated to make these events a real success.
I am the father of three beautiful young adults, Alexandre 22 years old, Justine 19 years old and Rémi 17 years old. In 2014, the disease struck our family, Rémi received a diagnosis of Acute lymphoblastic leukemia, type T. He is now in remission and healthy. From the first days of Rémi’s disease, Leucan was there to support us, on many levels.
Through my involvement I wish to accomplish a meaningful gesture for Leucan, the children, who like Rémi, deserve our support as well as all the families affected by the challenges of their disease.

It is with great interest and the desire to contribute to the achievement of the goals of the organization that I joined the board of directors of Leucan in September 2021. I have three children and it is in 2015, when my daughter Laurence was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic lymphoma, that our family realized the importance of an organization like Leucan in supporting and accompanying children and their families afflicted by pediatric cancer.
I am a Chartered Professional Accountant and hold a University Certification in Corporate Governance (ASC). I have worked my entire career in the management team of various public and private companies. I have also been involved in professional associations and in my community throughout my professional career, having served as a director on several boards of directors.

It is an honour for me to join Leucan’s Board of Trustees as a childhood cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at the age of eight and Leucan truly supported my family during this difficult time. I hold a BBA with a specialization in marketing from HEC Montréal and began my professional career three years ago. After two years in advertising as a media strategist, I am now in charge of digital marketing projects at Novatech, on the South Shore of Montreal.

Leucan came into my life in December 2015, when my daughter Dorothée was diagnosed with leukemia. Since that time, Leucan has accompanied and supported me and continues to do so today even after Dorothée’s death. It is for this reason that I want to get involved in Leucan’s board of trustees, in order to participate in its mission and support the children who courageously fight against cancer and their families.
I have a bachelor’s degree in business administration and have over 10 years of experience in marketing and communication.

It is with great enthusiasm that I begin my first mandate on Leucan’s Board of Directors. As the mother of a young boy, Nolan, and the godmother of two little girls, I know how precious our children health is. I have always been sensitive to the situation of sick children and I believe that support for families is essential. I consider myself fortunate to have been chosen to actively participate in Leucan whose reputation is highly recognized. As a member of the board, I want to get involved and ensure that Leucan’s values are perpetuated.
Having worked in the financial field for 20 years, with extensive experience as a manager and holding the CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) designation, it is only natural for me to be involved in the Human Resources as well as Philanthropic Development and Communications committees.
Accompanying boards of directors, board chairmen and business leaders, I have developed a passion for governance. In my current and past roles, I have created and facilitated several training sessions for Boards of Directors, advisory committees and executives while helping them to perfect their roles and deepen their responsibilities as directors.

After working on several Leucan Shaved Head Challenges, I decided to join the Board of Trustees. I am the mother of two children: Licia and Enzo. At the age of four, Enzo was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, but he is now in remission and doing very well. Leucan played such a crucial role in our daily life over his two years of treatment, so it’s now our family’s turn to pay it forward.
On the professional front, I am an engineer currently working in project management and continuous improvement for the National Bank’s Financial Markets Operations. I hope to contribute my skills and knowledge to families supported by Leucan.

Mariana, my oldest daughter, was 13 when she passed away from a rare form of cancer. Throughout her treatment, and even today, I can appreciate the work Leucan does every day to support sick children and their families.
Despite the circumstances, I feel privileged to have benefited from the Association’s support. Through my involvement on the Board of Directors, I’m hoping to give back.
After fifteen years in financial services and strategy consulting, I joined Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec in 2015. I am currently Managing Director, Strategy and Development in the Fixed Income team. I am an engineer by training, and I also hold a Master’s in Strategy and Management of International Business.
