Leucan wishes to highlight ten years of involvement of the “25 heures de hockey” event with children with cancer and their families.
If you are not familiar with this unique charity event, it is not like any other hockey game. Every year since 2008, one team has taken on a seemingly impossible task: to play 25 teams for 25 consecutive hours.
This welcoming event brings together men’s and women’s teams of all ages and skill levels. Each year, professional players and public personalities also take part in the event.
A formidable challenge for a good cause, the well being of children
Since its first edition, the 25 hours of field hockey has raised money for various organizations and associations including, for the past 10 years, Leucan. The event contributed $66,745 to the Association’s cause last year.
The 14th edition of the 25 hours of field hockey will take place on January 28 and 29.
Thank you to the founder of the event, Sébastien Renaud, the spectators, the players, the organizing committee and the volunteers who make this event a great success!
