Have you ever dreamed of taking the ice with NHL stars?
Several Quebec City area hockey players had the chance to make this dream come true on August 9, during the Pro-Am Gagné-Bergeron.
Now in its 12th year, the event invites NHL players to participate in a charity game with amateur players to benefit several organizations in the national capital, including Leucan Région Québec.
This great initiative was a resounding success, raising over $425,000 to help children in need in the Quebec City area.
Leucan was also a key player in the realization of the event by providing and managing all the volunteers. The Association also gave 75 tickets to Leucan families to attend the evening, which also featured a concert by Jonathan Roy.
Leucan would like to thank the guest players, the organizers, the partners, the volunteers, the spectators and the ambassadors of the event, Patrice Bergeron and Simon Gagné, for a magical evening filled with smiles, and their generosity towards children with cancer.
