Once again in 2022, Leucan could count on the generosity of one of its oldest partners, the Québec Road Builders and Heavy Construction Association.
Since the beginning of its involvement, more than 20 years ago, the QRBHCA has donated more than one million dollars to Leucan through fundraising events and a team dedicated to the cause.
A $75,000 donation
The QRBHCA and its members are proud to be able to help children with cancer and wish to make a difference in the daily lives of families affected by the disease. For these reasons, the association organizes the annual Construire l’espoir fundraising evening to benefit Leucan.
The 21st edition of the event, which included a cocktail reception, dinner and entertainment, ended with the presentation of a $75,000 check for children with cancer.
Remarkable dedication
In 2022, in addition to the benefit evening held last December, the QRBHCA demonstrated its support for Leucan through its annual golf tournament, but also through the special dedication of three employees. On May 29, they took up the Shaved Head Challenge.

The fundraising continued on June 2 and 3 as part of the Association’s 78th convention. It raised $17,520 on top of the $11,755 collected before the shave. The members’ efforts raised $29,275 for Leucan.
The involvement and dedication of each member of the QRBHCA team is remarkable. Led by Marie-Josée Banville, special events coordinator, the success of their fundraising is guaranteed. THANK YOU for having Leucan’s children at heart.
