For children and teenagers, experiencing such a drastic body image change can have an impact on both self-esteem and confidence.

In order for children to be comfortable with this change during treatment, Leucan offers a customized Hair Alternatives Program for each individual.

• From the age of five, children can request a cap, beanie or toque.
• As of 12 years old, teenagers may request natural or synthetic hair prostheses and extensions as well, as a cap or toque.
