This September, Leucan, the Association for children with cancer, marks Childhood Cancer Awareness Month to raise awareness about the steps from diagnosis towards recovery. Thus, today Leucan launches the second edition of Shine Bright for Leucan, a great movement of support and admiration for families affected by childhood cancer and invites the population to  send a strong message of hope to cancer-stricken children.

 Hope sparkles across the province

Throughout September, Leucan will light up in gold  to honour the gold ribbon, the international symbol for childhood cancer awareness. Leucan urges all its supporters to proudly adorn themselves in gold and share pictures on social media to raise awareness for the cause. Quebecers can shine bright in their living space (patio, living room, front entrance), wear gold-coloured clothes or jewelry/accessories, and share Leucan’s postings on social media. In doing so, participants in the movement will send a strong message of love and hope to children and their families.

Light up your space in gold, wear gold clothing or accessories, share our messages, and show your solidarity and love for children with cancer.

Our Godmother, Marie-Mai, is calling on you. Will you join us?
