Leucan Experience 2025, A Wave of Solidarity Raising $755,000 for Children with Cancer
On October 9, 2025, Montreal’s Marché Bonsecours hosted The Leucan Experience, presented by Olymel, bringing together 525 guests in support of children with cancer and their families. Thanks to the generosity of participants, partners, and ambassadors, the event raised $755,000—matching last year’s record amount. These funds will help support the 312 children who received a cancer diagnosis or relapse over the past year.
The evening, themed “Leucan: Greater than Nature,” immersed guests in a symbolic forest representing the journey of challenges, hope, and solidarity experienced by Leucan families. From the moving opening to the final musical note, attendees were captivated by an immersive production featuring an original story, artistic performances, and a powerful testimonial from the young spokesperson, Anoushka.
One of the evening’s most touching moments was the collective gesture of unity, as participants were invited to hang a symbolic leaf on the Tree of Solidarity. Leucan’s ambassador, singer Marie-Mai, joined the guests to encourage this outpouring of compassion and togetherness.
As Leucan’s Executive Director, Juli Meilleur, emphasized, this amount “will allow children and their families to keep walking alongside Leucan throughout their cancer journey.” The Association extends heartfelt thanks to Olymel, the event’s presenting partner, and to all its supporters for making this night so grand, so vibrant, so greater than nature.
The event’s partners played a key role in the evening’s success: RBC, partner of the opening cocktail, helped create a warm and unifying moment to kick off the event. IBM Canada and Sanipro, partners of the artistic performances, helped “make emotions dance” through powerful and heartfelt choreographed numbers that gracefully portrayed the journey of families affected by cancer. Finally, Deloitte, partner of the engagement moment, contributed to making this sequence one of the highlights of the evening, bringing participants together in a shared wave of solidarity.
