On the morning of February 15, on International Childhood Cancer Awareness Day and Leucan’s 40-year anniversary, Defenders Danièle Henkel, Dominic Paquet, Louis Jean and Marie-Ève Piché went to the Montreal Children’s Hospital.
They put smiles on the children’s faces by visiting them in their rooms to give them games, courtesy of Gladius. Our most sincere thanks to the Defenders for their gesture of solidarity that brought comfort and joy in the children’s day.
What is a Defender?
Someone who has the well-being of cancer-stricken children and their family at heart, someone who stops at nothing, who dares changing the status quo, who is determined and tenacious and who will be a loyal ally to children with cancer to support them in this difficult time.
