Thank you Care Camps for providing respite for Leucan families.
Thanks to the support of our partner Care Camps, around forty families affected by pediatric cancer gathered at the Jouvence resort to enjoy precious moments together.
They enjoyed an unforgettable summer weekend of outdoor activities, laughter, and sunshine.
This respite allowed them to get away from treatments and routines while forging links with other families who are experiencing similar realities; but above all, they came together to enjoy moments of happiness as a family, without worries, in a safe and soothing environment.
Leucan would like to thank Care Camps for their donation of $16,380, which helped fund a portion of this family respite.
Four times a year, our Family Respite welcomes children with cancer, their siblings, and their parents. It is an opportunity to spend quality time together as a family and to connect with other Leucan member families. It is a weekend filled with special activities and discussions and a chance to escape treatments and hospital routines while enjoying nature at its fullest.
