Leucan is proud to announce the commitment of four new Giants as part of the 40 Giants for Leucan campaign. 

Thank you to Luc Bertrand of Accès Location +, Denis Ricard, President and CEO of IA Financial Group, Maxime Laviolette, General Manager of Dessercom and Danny Di Schiavi, Administrator of the Elina & Giuseppe Borsellino Family Foundation, who have each pledged $40,000 to the Association.

The funds raised through this major campaign will be used to consolidate and increase funding for clinical research and to increase support for survivors living with the effects of the disease.

Luc Bertrand wants to make a difference in the lives of children with cancer

It is a great privilege for me to invest even more concretely in Leucan’s mission by becoming one of the 40 Giants. As an entrepreneur, I feel it is important to give back to the community. I am convinced that each of us can make a real difference in the lives of those families who are facing the disease. Every Leucan child I have had the opportunity to meet has given me so much. Danny Di Schiavi and the Elina & Giuseppe Borsellino Family Foundation get involved to support children in their fight against cancer

Joining the 40 Giants was a must for the Elina & Giuseppe Borsellino Family Foundation.  Without any hesitation, we agreed to contribute to this essential program in order to allow Leucan to pursue its mission; to smooth the winding road during and after the fight of children with cancer, as well as their families, through a multitude of adapted accompaniment and wellness services at each stage of the disease. Improving treatments and supporting clinical research, the priorities of Maxime Laviolette and Dessercom

At Dessercom, everything we do is geared towards our mission: to contribute to the improvement of health care and the well-being of communities. We are deeply committed to supporting organizations that, like us, share these ambitions. Leucan is definitely one of them! Children are our future. We must therefore do everything we can to improve treatment, support and, hopefully, the constant increase in recovery. Leucan makes a huge difference in our society and that is why we are very proud to financially support their efforts in clinical research and in the fight against childhood cancer. Denis Ricard and iA Financial Group are committed to helping survivors

As the father of four children, I am personally affected by the health of children. One of my children had serious health problems when he was younger, so I understand what young patients and their families go through. This is why this year I am committed to being one of the 40 Giants for Leucan, in order to support research and help cancer survivors. At iA Financial Group, our purpose is to make our clients feel confident and secure about the future. We believe that this purpose should also extend to our community. Leucan gives confidence and hope for the future to young people and their families who are going through the most difficult of times. I would like to thank all of Leucan’s volunteers and employees for their tireless work, and all of our donors for their generosity!
