It’s with a great deal of gratitude that Leucan wishes to underline the commitment of Confédération des syndicats nationaux (CSN) in the organization of the Leucan-CSN Summer Camp for the past 20 years. Established in 1985, the camp was renamed Leucan-CSN Summer Camp in 2001, thanks to a partnership with CSN, which funds the event via several fundraising activities including an annual raffle.
For the families of Leucan, this camp represents an opportunity to enjoy a real family vacation and forget about cancer for a short while. The camp is tailored to their circumstances and needs and includes a medical team on staff. This team supervises the medication intake and cancer care of children undergoing treatments.
For the 20th edition of the camp fundraising campaign, 26,000 raffle tickets will be sold across Québec at the cost of $5 per ticket. The draw will take place on September 29 with prizes of a total value of over $24,000.
Leucan extends its warmest thanks to all the salaried workers and members of CSN who contribute directly and indirectly to the success of this campaign every year.
