COVID-19 Leucan adjusts its family services offer to all members of the Association

Leucan is closely monitoring developments related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the potential impact on its members, employees, volunteers and partners. Following government recommendations, and as an organization working with vulnerable clientele, Leucan wishes to take all the necessary preventive measures to limit the risk of the virus spreading. This is why all philanthropic events, as well as socio-recreational activities offered to families members scheduled until April 30 will be either postponed or cancelled.

Adjustment of the services offer to family-members of Leucan

 Since March 13, 2020, the following adjustments are applicable:

  • All socio-recreational activities, group activities or meetings up to April 30 are canceled or postponed;
  • Social activities in hospitals (meals or other) are canceled. We will follow the hospital’s directives regarding the presence of our employees (playrooms, massage therapy, counselor);
  • All respite weekends for families with children in treatment and for bereaved couples scheduled by April 30 are cancelled or postponed;
  • Massage therapy service offered at home is cancelled until further notice;
  • The school awareness program is halted until April 30. Thereafter, the service may resume as long as schools agree to welcome us.
  • The nights planned at the Fairmont Château Montebello between March 22 and April 30, 2020 are unfortunately canceled.
