For a sixth consecutive year, Mia is partnering up with Leucan to sell the Earrings of Hope to the benefit of the Association.
Meet Charlie and Nely, two young Leucan members and spokespersons for the Earrings of Hope
“Hi, my name is Charlie Côté and I’m three-and-a-half years old. When I was only 21 months, I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Today, I am almost done my treatments.
From the beginning, Leucan has always been there for us. In my hardest moments, the Leucan team always took initiative and knew what I needed or how to make me feel better.
Now, it’s my turn to support Leucan by becoming a spokesperson for the Earrings of Hope. I had so much fun in front of the camera: for one magical day, everyone treated me like a princess and I even made some new friends.
You, too, can support Leucan, by proudly wearing the Earrings of Hope. It’s for a good cause and you will help families, just like mine, to go through this difficult ordeal.”
“I’m Nely d’Almeida and I’m 13 years old. I love swimming and video games.
Sadly, in July 2018, I received a cancer diagnosis: desmoplastic small-round-cell tumor. I wanted to be a spokesperson for the Earrings of Hope, because I feel that anything is possible despite the illness. Thanks you to Leucan for all the support they give to children who have cancer.”
Nely and Charlie proudly represent Leucan and act as a symbol of hope by wearing the Mia earrings, because they know that it is thanks to the support of partners like Mia that Leucan can pursue its mission.
