To give you the opportunity to enjoy a real vacation away from the illness, we are proud to provide you with the Leucan-CSN Summer Camp.

Created in 1985, the camp was renamed the Leucan-CSN Summer Camp in 2001 in recognition of a partnership with the Confédération des syndicats nationaux (CSN), which funds the annual camp through various fundraisers. This is the only camp dedicated to cancer-stricken children and their families.

The camp is designed specifically with those children in mind, with a medical team available 24 hours a day for the duration of the camp to administer cancer treatments and care to children. In addition to this medical team, the camp is operated thanks to the participation of 65 volunteers, including 11 massage therapists and more than 40 camp counsellors there to host and oversee all activities.

Every summer, nearly 120 families enjoy one of the two one-week stays in late July and early August. For more information, please see the Camp’s brochure.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Leucan-CSN Summer Camp was suspended in the summer of 2020. This activity will resume as soon as public health measures allow.
