The camp is cherished by us all. It is the highlight of the year for many families. The camp serves as a symbol of joy, hope, and relaxation; it is a place of love where families bond together. In 1985, Leucan established the only family summer camp in Quebec targeted specifically to cancer-stricken children and their families.

In 2001, the camp was renamed the Leucan-CSN Summer Camp due to a partnership with theConfédération des syndicats nationaux (CSN), which finances the event through several fundraising activities.

For Leucan’s families, the camp is an opportunity to enjoy a real vacation and to forget about the disease momentarily. The camp is tailored to their reality and needs, with a medical team available at all times. The team can administer treatments and cancer care as required.
