The Leucan-CSN Summer Camp

The camp is cherished by us all. It is the highlight of the year for many families. The camp serves as a symbol of joy, hope, and relaxation; it is a place of love where families bond together. At the camp, we all feel like we belong.Isabelle and Alain, parents of Gabriel, Daniel, Justine, Alexianne and Louis, family member of Leucan

In 1985, Leucan established the only family summer camp in Quebec targeted specifically to cancer-stricken children and their families.

In 2001, the camp was renamed the Leucan-CSN Summer Camp due to a partnership with theConfédération des syndicats nationaux (CSN), which finances the event through several fundraising activities.

For Leucan’s families, the camp is an opportunity to enjoy a real vacation and to forget about the disease momentarily. The camp is tailored to their reality and needs, with a medical team available at all times. The team can administer treatments and cancer care as required.
