Leucan is pleased to invite you to its respite weekend! Many activities will be offered throughout the weekend to allow you to spend quality time with your loved ones and create new memories, as well as get to know other Leucan families. We hope that this moment will provide your family with a great opportunity to relax, unwind and briefly get away from the routine of hospital follow-ups and treatments.
This invitation is specifically for your immediate family, such as mother, father, the child who is diagnosed and their siblings. We cannot accept any registration for couples without their child who is diagnosed with cancer.
Families will be able to take advantage of two nights at the Fairmont Le Château Montebello, May 12 and 13. We will be greeting the families on Friday as of 4 p.m. The package includes two breakfasts (Saturday and Sunday) and a lunch as well as your supper on Saturday. Throughout the weekend, you will be free to partake in the activities as you please, according to your interests and level of energy. If you’d rather simply enjoy the resort’s installations and site, you will be free to do so as well.
In order for you to feel secure, oncology nurses will be on site all weekend, as well as volunteers. Christelle, Jolène & Julie will take care of you throughout the weekend as well.
Please note that places are limited. In order to be fair to everyone, we will select the participants by doing a lottery among the registrations we received before April 7, 2023. We will be communicating with you during the week of April 10, 2023 to let you know the outcome of that lottery. We will also keep a waiting list, in case a few winners cannot attend.
