Desjardins Securities Golf Tournament

Leucan wishes to give a warm thank you to André Houle for organising a golf tournament in favour of Leucan Estrie for the last 15 years to which 180 players attend each year. Since 2004, this major fundraising event for Leucan Estrie is put together in partnership with Desjardins Valeurs Mobilières.

Over the years different public figures have preside over this event and made it a success: Réal Létourneau, Vice-President of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton in Estrie; Richard Lamontagne, President of Chocolats Lamontagne; Alban D’Amour of Mouvement Desjardins; Rémy Girard, actor; Monique Leroux, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mouvement des caisses Desjardins; Luce Samoisette, President of Université de Sherbrooke, and Guy Lafleur as ambassador of the Montreal Canadiens. After a memorable day at Club de Golf Venise in Magog, players and guests are invited to the Delta Sherbrooke to share a meal with families from Leucan.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the members of the organizing committee, as well as to the volunteers and golfers for their valuable support and the wonderful time had by all.

Rythme FM is one of the most loyal partners of Leucan Estrie. Indeed, Rythme FM promotes the Association’s activities on top of getting involved in the field during the different fundraising events. Leucan is grateful for the support of the station’s whole team.

Thanks to her energy and unparalleled commitment, advertising specialist Danielle Berthold was named Regional Ambassador and contributes to extend the coverage of Leucan in the Eastern Townships.
