Leucan is a cause dear to the heart of the Marketing Students’ Association of Université de Sherbrooke. Those students are fully aware of the challenges cancer-stricken youths face when it comes to fulfilling their dreams and ambitions, so they have chosen to help us make a difference. On top of their involvement in student life and their fundraising activities for their association, members of Markus have shared the proceeds of a silent auction they held with Leucan Estrie.
Bowl-o-thon Leucan at Salon de quilles et billard Sher-Mont
Since 2006 Pierre Boucher of Salon de quilles et billard Sher-Mont has been inviting his loyal customers to a special bowling event for Leucan. On that day, all proceeds made from opening to closing time are donated to Leucan. A big thank you to Mr. Boucher and his team, as well as to all the players and contributors: your donations help us to make a difference!
Salon des vins et fromages de l’Estrie
Since 2009, the Eastern Townships Wine & Cheese Exhibition, hosted by the SAQ and organised by the firefighters of Sherbrooke, teams up with Leucan. Part of the proceeds from this activity will be put towards revamping the playroom of the CHUS paediatric oncology centre. New decorations, a fresh coat of paint, and new equipment are on the menu this year.
Lobster Dinner at DaLeonardo Restaurant
What could be more delicious than enjoying an all-you-can-eat lobster dinner on the patio on a hot summer night? Well, this scenario gets even better when all the proceeds are given to Leucan. We would like to extend a big thank you to the Meccati family, owners of Sherbrooke’s DaLeonardo Restaurant, and to their loyal patrons for their much appreciated support.
The Olymel Golf Tournament
The second edition of the Olymel Eastern Townships Golf Tournament took place in Asbestos and Warwick. As proud supporters of Leucan for years, Olymel’s employees have taken part in games and competitions to gather money for our cause. A big thank you to all of you!
