Friendship Ladybug

The people of Saint-Chrysostome and the Chevaliers de Colomb gather every year to organize the biggest derby in Quebec in which part of the benefits are given to Leucan. Thanks to Mr. Donald Bourdeau’s initiative and many other committed individuals, a significant amount of donations has been collected for Leucan so far. We thank them all!

This event is also called the Pierre Vadeboncoeur Golf Tournament in the honour of its organizer. Every year for the last 16 years golfers at the annual tournament of hardware purchasers and providers play a special hole for Leucan. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts!

Since 2006 Mr. Joseph de Palma, Elsie Nadeau’s grandpa, has been working hard in his community soliciting funds for Leucan from his family and friends, his former colleagues and the members of the Fondation italienne Saint-Joseph (Saint-Joseph Italian Foundation) with which he is actively committed. Mr. de Palma makes a difference for children affected by cancer!

The organizers of Optimist Clubs from Zone 5 have been there for Leucan over the last 22 years, raising important amounts for the Association. We applaud this considerable collective effort and the huge commitment of these optimistic organizers! 22 THANKS for this great continuity!

The Omnium Michel Blouin, organized by the friends of Michel Blouin who passed away at the age of 30, is without any doubt one of the most effective fundraising golf tournaments coordinated by friends in Quebec. The amount raised is clearly the result of the organizing committee’s immense dedication and devotion for their friend and the children and families of Leucan. We warmly thank them!

Mr. Peter Morentzos, founder of the Queue de Cheval, as well as Mr. Joey Ghazal, marketing director of Morentzos Restaurant Group, are committed heart and soul to Leucan’s success. Phenomenal evenings such as “Boys and Toys”, underlining the restaurant’s 10th anniversary, have greatly contributed to our Association. THANK YOU!

Why do organizers return year after year for the last 15 years? Because they want to make a difference! Normand Laurence Invitation Golf Tournament does make a difference―this loyalty and dedication is precious to Leucan. We THANK them for that!

Chantal Provost, founder/manager and pianist for the Voi(e)x d’espoir choir, is accompanied by some 250 choristers directed by Joël Poulin, their conductor. For her, presenting concerts every year “is to open one’s heart and share moments of happiness.” Leucan wishes to thank them warmly.
