Become a Volunteer

Leucan’s strength lies in its volunteers actively engaged in its mission throughout Quebec, whether it be in supporting cancer-stricken children and their families, taking part in fundraising events and campaigns, or by providing administrative support.

Volunteering in Support Services for Children with Cancer and their Families

This type of volunteering can take place at the hospital, at school, or during a socio-recreational activity depending on the volunteer’s aptitudes and interests. Leucan has developed a training program to ensure that volunteers are well prepared to respond to the special needs of these children and their families. If needed, appropriate training in helping relationship and relevant conferences can be added to this training.

Leucan wants to inform you that our lists of volunteers for the Montreal region are currently full. Nevertheless, if you wish to send us your application, please note that your name will be added to the waiting list. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Volunteering for a Fundraising Event, a Fundraising Campaign, or for Administrative Support

Fundraising campaigns and events involve significant operations needing a large number of volunteers in preparing and conducting these activities. Volunteers may be employed in making phone calls, mailings, advertising, promotional material sales, etc. Administrative support is also needed for many projects.
