Childminding at the hospital (Montreal only)
A volunteer can allow parents whose child is hospitalized to take a breather and regain some energy while taking time out for themselves. In order to create a bond of trust, we encourage maintaining the volunteer/child team during visits at the hospital. Support for parents and volunteers is ensured by the person in charge of Leucan’s welcome, emotional assistance and support services after each hospital visit.
Required required: having a certain experience with children and teenagers.
Availability: 19 years old and over, being available in the daytime, during 3 consecutive hours, every week, from monday to friday, for several consecutive weeks.
